Salary: £19.07/hour (£16.37/hour + £2.70/hour as payment for annual leave)
Hours: Part time (2.5 days - Term time Only)

Are you passionate about supporting young people to reach their full potential? We're looking for a dedicated and motivated Progress Coach to join East Surrey College on a Term Time basis.
This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in helping students overcome challenges, build confidence, and achieve both their academic and personal goals. You will provide guidance, encouragement, and practical support, helping them stay engaged, motivated, and on track for success.
As a Progress Coach, you'll collaborate with the Director of Learning, Programme Managers, and wider support teams to create positive, trusting relationships with young people. You'll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact by implementing targeted interventions, setting progress goals, supporting learner retention, and helping students navigate barriers to learning. You'll also work closely with the safeguarding team to ensure vulnerable learners receive the support they need, monitoring progress and maintaining regular communication around student wellbeing.

We're looking for someone who has
- Maths & English GCSE (or Level 2 equivalent)
- Experience working with disengaged young people
- Experience supporting young people with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs
- Strong IT skills, particularly across Microsoft Office packages
- Excellent communication and written skills
