We are looking for people to Join us as a Research and Data Quality Officer within our Information Management Team

The current vacancy sits within Freedom of Information Team who process requests for Police Information from various sources to comply with the legislation.

The department works Monday to Friday, with some potential for hybrid working when you are up and running.

This is a permanent position in the Freedom of Information Team.

The Post holder will be required to work amongst a specialised team responsible for providing Police disclosure to applicants to satisfy their enquiries.

The post holder will be required to carry out a range of research, disclosure, and administrative activities, including researching police systems and preparing disclosure reports and packages in accordance with relevant policies, procedures, agreements and legislation.

The post holder may be requested to undertake duties within other areas of Information Management in accordance with the needs and priorities of the department.

We are seeking applications from dynamic individuals with a good work ethic who are;

  • Suitably qualified.
  • Computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft applications.
  • Experienced in using information management systems with a high degree of speed and accuracy.
  • Able to communicate effectively and professional both orally and in writing.
  • Able to accurately record, retrieve and present information.
  • Keen and quick to learn as on the job training will be provided for you to reach your potential.

The successful Candidate must be willing to undergo vetting to MV/SC Vetting.
