The Part You’ll Play
As Marketing Lead, you will take ownership of day-to-day marketing delivery at Hillcroft, ensuring activity is structured, consistent and aligned to commercial priorities.
Working under the strategic direction of the Marketing Director, you will translate agreed marketing direction into clear plans, campaigns and communications that support customer acquisition, account growth and retention.
You will play a central role in bringing greater structure, coordination and visibility to marketing activity, with a focus on developing structured marketing programmes and sequenced communications across the customer lifecycle.
What you’ll do
- Translate marketing strategy into structured marketing programmes and communications, applying defined messaging frameworks and adapting content for different customer segments and lifecycle stages
- Provide conceptual direction for marketing campaigns and communications, translating positioning and messaging frameworks into clear creative direction for design and content
- Own and manage the marketing delivery calendar, coordinating and sequencing activity in line with commercial priorities
- Plan and deliver marketing initiatives that support customer acquisition, account growth and retention
- Line-manage the internal marketing team and provide day-to-day leadership across marketing activity
- Establish clear marketing workflows, planning processes and delivery standards, and create internal visibility of marketing priorities, plans and progress
- Coordinate internal teams and external partners to ensure marketing activity is delivered effectively, managing output quality and consistency across all activity
- Plan and structure marketing programmes into sequenced lifecycle reinforcement activity across customer acquisition, account growth and retention
- Plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns, creating campaign concepts that translate strategic priorities into effective marketing initiatives
- Prepare clear briefs and lead the development and delivery of marketing materials, content and campaign assets across internal teams and external partners
- Apply clear messaging hierarchy, narrative structure and brand standards/guardrails across all marketing communications
- Apply a strong understanding of digital marketing to guide website structure, content and user journey design aligned to lifecycle stages, and coordinate SEO and digital specialists to improve search visibility and website performance
- Develop tailored messaging for specific customer segments, producing case studies, sales materials, and supporting content across the customer lifecycle
- Coordinate PR and external communications, including thought leadership programmes, to reinforce positioning and strengthen visibility across target sectors
- Work closely with Sales and wider stakeholders to align marketing activity to commercial strategies, ensuring marketing activity reinforces the entire customer journey
- Manage the marketing budget, tracking spend and monitoring return on activity
- Establish reporting frameworks that track marketing contribution to commercial outcomes, and use insight to evaluate and refine activity , programmes and overall effectiveness

- Degree-level qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5–8 years experience in a marketing management or marketing lead role
- Experience developing marketing plans aligned to commercial priorities
- Demonstrated experience delivering structured marketing programmes that support customer acquisition, account growth and retention
- Experience managing integrated campaigns across multiple channels
- Experience working closely with sales teams to support commercial growth and account development
- Experience managing external suppliers and coordinating delivery across multiple contributors
- Experience improving marketing structure, processes or ways of working within a growing B2B organisation
The hours you’ll commit
This is a full-time position, requiring you to work at our offices 9 am until 5 pm, Monday to Friday. In addition to the benefits above, you will enjoy 28 days of paid holiday each year (including bank holidays), because we believe everyone needs and deserves time to rest, recharge, and enjoy life outside of work.
