We are recruiting for a Quality Assurance Engineer who is responsible for supporting and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS), driving continuous improvement, and ensuring products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and compliance.
The Role
You will play a key role in supporting quality assurance activities across the organisation, ensuring compliance and driving improvements:
- Maintain and coordinate the internal audit programme in line with ISO 9001, EN9100 and other standards
- Support external, customer, supplier and certification audits
- Assist in the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System
- Monitor and track corrective and preventive actions from audits and non-conformance reports
- Conduct product investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation
- Support customer complaints and internal quality investigations
- Provide quality engineering support to manufacturing and process engineering teams
- Assist with inspection plans, quality documentation, and workmanship standards
- Manage non-conforming products, including MRB documentation and containment actions
- Support inspection activities and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Promote quality awareness and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will bring strong quality experience and a proactive, detail-focused approach:
- Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Understanding of Quality Management Systems (ideally EN9100)
- Experience conducting or supporting internal audits
- Knowledge of quality tools, including root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
