As a Casual Conference and Events Assistant, you’re not just supporting event delivery – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here's What You'll Do During a Typical Day

  • Prepare event spaces: Set up meeting rooms, conference spaces, and banquet areas according to event requirements, ensuring all layouts and equipment are ready for guests.
  • Support event delivery: Assist with the smooth running of conferences, meetings, banquets, and special events by providing attentive service and responding to guest needs.
  • Serve refreshments: Deliver food and beverage service during events, ensuring guests receive prompt, professional, and friendly service throughout.
  • Maintain event standards: Monitor meeting and event spaces to ensure they remain clean, organised, and presented to the highest standard at all times.
  • Promote a safe environment: Keep all conference and event areas hazard-free, following health, safety, and operational procedures.
  • Work as part of a team: Collaborate with colleagues across the hotel to deliver exceptional events and create positive experiences for every guest.
