The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly organised and commercially minded Purchasing & Operations Officer to join our Operations team.

Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our supply chain, purchasing activities, inventory management, and customer order fulfilment across both the UK and US markets.

Key Responsibilities

Purchasing & Supply Chain:

  • Manage purchasing activities across UK and US operations.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels and support demand planning.
  • Raise and manage purchase orders with suppliers.
  • Build strong supplier relationships and support cost-saving initiatives.
  • Monitor stock performance, replenishment, and inventory accuracy.
  • Support supplier approval processes and compliance documentation.
  • Analyse purchasing data to identify opportunities for operational improvements.

Operations & Order Fulfilment:

  • Support daily operational activities alongside the Head of Operations.
  • Coordinate customer order fulfilment with warehouse and production teams.
  • Monitor order processing, delivery performance, and logistics activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Identify efficiencies and process improvements across operations and logistics.
  • Support reporting, stock analysis, and business performance monitoring.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years' experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Operations, or Logistics.
  • Background in Beauty, FMCG, Food, Pharma, or a related industry.
  • Proficiency in Excel and confidence working with data.
  • Experience using ERP systems such as Sage 200, SAP, or equivalent.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to thrive in a growing business environment.
  • Experience with Power BI or reporting tools is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of exporting beauty products and regulatory requirements is a plus.

Work Arrangement
