What You Need to Succeed

We are seeking to appoint a Lead Teacher for our Specialist Support Centre, Harbour, which is now an established provision and is moving into its third year since opening in September 2024. We are looking for an experienced SEN teacher to join our successful SEND department and lead on the provision for Autistic young people, who have an EHCP in Harbour.

The successful applicant will be keen to immerse themselves in our effective SEN team, whilst having the vision to further develop resources and provision to meet the needs of our growing cohort of students. They will be required to assess and plan for the individual needs of our Harbour students, creating, where necessary, a bespoke timetable of support, while contributing to the development of the wider school Autism provision and training. They must have a strong desire to build effective relationships with students and staff to help create and sustain a cohesive, inclusive and positive school environment for all.
