We’re currently recruiting for a People & Culture Advisor to join our People Team.

What you’ll achieve in the role

You will play a key role in delivering a positive colleague experience across the employee lifecycle, with a focus on absence management, learning and development, colleague wellbeing and engagement. You will provide proactive expert advice and guidance to support the consistent application of policies and procedures and contribute to the delivery of people and culture initiatives and projects.

Key responsibilities include

  • Provide practical and compliant HR advice across the employee lifecycle, with a focus on absence, capability, L&D, wellbeing, and engagement

  • Support managers to confidently handle people matters in line with policy and best practice

  • Manage and support absence processes, including Occupational Health referrals and return‑to‑work support

  • Deliver new joiner HR inductions, and support the design, coordination and implementation of learning and development initiatives and programmes

  • Contribute to the planning and facilitation of wellbeing, engagement, and EDI activities and initiatives

  • Support the development and delivery of People & Culture initiatives by maintaining policies and procedures and contributing to projects aligned to the People & Culture Strategy.

  • Produce relevant and insightful people data and maintain accurate, compliant records

What you’ll bring to Raven

For this role, we are looking for someone with the following:

  • CIPD Level 3 qualified or equivalent HR experience

  • Sound understanding of HR principles and UK employment law

  • Experience providing practical, day‑to‑day advice to managers

  • Experience facilitating or delivering people management training

  • Understanding of learning & development, wellbeing, and engagement best practice

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective, trusting relationships quickly

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and contribute to project work

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Confident user of Microsoft 365 and HR or learning systems
