Job Type: Casual Front of House & Bar Host (Zero-Hours Contract)
Troubadour is a company which specialises in large-scale installation venues. We build and operate go-to destinations that are fully flexible, contemporary and with the ability to showcase world-class entertainment whilst providing a greater experience for all.
We are looking for hard-working and motivated Front of House and Bar Hosts, to join the team for our upcoming performances of “ I'm Every Woman - The Chaka Khan Musical ” , "Dinosaur World Live” and “High School Musical On Stage” at Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre . The right candidate will be looking to join a dynamic team in a unique venue, offering an exceptional experience to our patrons and guests.
Our Hosts will work across all areas of our auditorium, foyer and bar operations, covering every aspect of service. From welcoming and seating guests, to serving snacks and drinks, selling merch, assisting with guest queries, and more. This role is key to delivering a smooth and memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patrons warmly and provide excellent guest service throughout their visit.
- Assist guests with ticket scanning, seating directions, and general venue enquiries.
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly and efficiently.
- Operate tills and handle card transactions accurately.
- Maintain clean, organised, and well-stocked bar and foyer areas.
- Support audience management before, during, and after performances.
- Monitor guest comfort and address any issues professionally.
- Follow all health, safety, licensing, and security procedures.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth venue operations.
Person Specification
- Must be over 18 years old.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.
- Previous experience in hospitality, guest service, leisure, retail, events, arts & culture or bars & restaurants is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, approachable, and confident dealing with large numbers of guests.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment.
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

This role is offered on a zero-hours contract basis, providing flexibility around theatre programming and event schedules. Working hours will vary depending on performances, events, and business needs. While no minimum number of hours can be guaranteed, successful candidates will have the opportunity to work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and special events.
