Role: Engineering Coordinator

Hours: 37.5 hrs/week

Location: Stockport, SK10 2NA

We're looking for an Engineering Coordinator who is responsible for the effective coordination, administration, and control of engineering maintenance activities across a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Role Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the scheduling and delivery of all engineering activities, including Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), statutory compliance tasks, and corrective/reactive works.
  • Manage the lifecycle of work orders from creation through to completion and close-out, ensuring accuracy in CAFM/CMMS systems (e.g. Maximo), including labour, materials, and asset updates.
  • Support compliance with UK statutory regulations (e.g. PSSR, LOLER, PUWER, Legionella), pharmaceutical regulatory standards (GMP / GxP), and ensure all documentation is completed, reviewed, approved, and stored in line with ALCOA+ data integrity standards.
  • Coordinate permit-to-work processes, ensuring approvals are in place, work is scheduled safely, and high-risk activities are properly controlled in line with site safety procedures.
  • Track and report on engineering KPIs (PPM compliance, reactive response times, backlog levels, data quality), while supporting stakeholder communication and continuous improvement initiatives across FM operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in a coordination, planning, or administrative role within hard services FM or engineering environments, with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and stakeholder engagement capability.
  • Strong working knowledge of CAFM/CMMS systems (e.g. Maximo, Concept, SAP) and understanding of engineering maintenance processes (PPM, reactive, statutory compliance), permit-to-work systems, and safe systems of work.
