We are looking for talented individuals to join our Composites team as an NDT Operator at our Burnely site.

Your Role
The NDT Operator is responsible for performing ultrasonic non‑destructive testing (NDT) in accordance with formal engineering, manufacturing, and regulatory requirements. The role ensures full traceability of documentation, supports compliance with external standards, and contributes to the safe, efficient, and high‑quality operation of the NDT function.

- Perform ultrasonic NDT inspections in line with approved procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare components, equipment, and work areas for inspection activities.
- Complete all required documentation accurately and to the required standard.
- Support Level II personnel with inspection tasks, including operational inspection duties on production partsWhat You'll Bring
Essential
1. NDT Training & Qualification Pathway
Must have completed (or be able to complete) the required examinations to qualify as an NDT Level II after training.(Must be willing and able to work under Level II or Level III supervision during the qualification period.)
2. Ability to Work Independently
Must demonstrate strong initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision. (Able to follow procedures precisely and maintain high levels of accuracy).

Must understand and follow Health & Safety policies, PPE requirements, and risk‑assessment controls.
- Must be able to identify and escalate safety concerns related to people, equipment, or product integrity.
- Quality‑Focused Mindset
Must be committed to producing high‑quality work and maintaining compliance with NADCAP and customer standards.
- Able to complete documentation accurately and maintain full traceability.
- Technical Competence
Ability to learn and understand the scope, limitations, and correct application of ultrasonic NDT techniques.
- Capable of performing equipment setup, calibration, and routine maintenance checks.
- Communication & Collaboration
Must be able to work effectively with colleagues, customers, and suppliers when required.
Able to communicate clearly, especially when reporting inspection results or raising concerns.
- Reliability & Professionalism
Must be dependable, punctual, and able to deliver tasks on time and to the required standard.
- Willingness to support Level II personnel, including occasional travel for customer interface activities.
