Visitor Services Assistant

The University of Liverpool is seeking a pro-active and welcoming Visitor Services Assistant to join our vibrant Libraries, Museum & Galleries team.

You will

• Be visible and provide excellent customer service to all visitors of museums and galleries
• Work within a fast-paced, front-facing team carrying out all front-of-house duties
• Actively engage and interact with visitors and colleagues

We’re looking for someone who

• Has experience of working flexibly within a visitor focussed environment
• Thrives by working within a close-knit team
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Enjoys being physically active within a working day

• Contribute to our front-facing services whilst working alongside our art and heritage collections

Working hours: Part time, 12 hours per week, including regular Saturday hours and flexibility to pick up additional evening shifts to support event activity if required.

You should have a minimum of 3 GCSEs or equivalent qualification, at grade C or above, including English and Maths.
