The UK’s 25-Year Environment Plan aims to double resource productivity and eliminate avoidable plastic waste by 2050. Companies like Pulpex are vital for delivering affordable, scalable solutions that support a more sustainable future for consumer goods and professional products.

Pulpex are now seeking a commercially focused and proactive Finance Business Partner to join the business. Reporting to the Finance Director and Site General Manager, this role will act as a key link between Finance and Operations, partnering closely with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain and Logistics teams to drive performance, support decision-making and improve overall business profitability.

This is a highly visible role that will provide meaningful financial insight to operational stakeholders, helping to challenge, influence and support key business decisions across the manufacturing operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Production, Engineering and Logistics teams to provide financial support, challenge and insight.
  • Deliver robust financial analysis and reporting to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Analyse manufacturing performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.
  • Monitor and report on operational KPIs, including labour utilisation, material consumption, waste, yield, inventory and production performance.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning activities across operational functions.
  • Drive understanding of manufacturing costs and operational performance throughout the business.

About You

  • Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering, FMCG, industrial or production environment.
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge and influence
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a genuine interest in understanding how the business operates.
