We are currently seeking a motivated, target-driven individual to join our Business Development Representative team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for turning interest into opportunity - engaging with warm inbound leads and creating new opportunities through outbound prospecting.

You’ll identify key decision-makers, run discovery conversations, qualify opportunities, and connect potential customers with the value of Ideagen’s solutions. Working closely with Account Executives, you’ll play a key part in building pipeline and driving revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify new opportunities through a mix of inbound follow-up and outbound prospecting
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of potential customers
  • Run discovery conversations to understand business challenges and position Ideagen solutions
  • Book high-quality, show-ready meetings for Account Executives
  • Partner closely with Account Executives to keep opportunities progressing
  • Maintain accurate records of activity, contacts, and outcomes in Salesforce and Outreach
  • Share feedback on messaging, objections, and market trends to improve our approach

Skills And Experience

  • A strong communicator who can confidently engage with a range of stakeholders, including senior decision-makers
  • Driven and resilient, with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets
  • Quick to learn, open to feedback, and adaptable in your approach
  • Ambitious, with a clear interest in building a career in sales or go-to-market roles
  • Comfortable leading conversations, asking questions, and handling objections
  • Well organised, with the ability to manage your own time and priorities effectively
  • Confident using CRM systems and maintaining high-quality data
