Please note: Automotive aftersales experience is a strict requirement for this position. Applications without a demonstrable aftersales background. Either from a dealership network, OEM, or specialist consultancy. will not be progressed.

AT A GLANCE

Location: Hampshire - hybrid working, 2 days per week in office/onsite

Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week - permanent role

Salary: £55k-60k per annum + £6,000 performance bonus

THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client is a well-established consultancy operating across Europe, with a client base that includes household names in the premium and luxury automotive space. Their UK operation is growing, and they're looking for a capable Training Manager to take ownership of their training portfolio. managing programmes from initial scoping and budget planning through to delivery and evaluation.

You'll be the senior point of contact for major clients, leading high-profile training initiatives and working closely with a driven, international team. The culture is flat, fast-moving, and genuinely collaborative. This is a business where your ideas will be heard and your impact will be visible.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

▸ Managing training projects across multiple premium OEM brands and clients, ensuring operational and financial targets are consistently met

▸ Leading budget planning and margin management for training programmes, from initial offer through to final delivery

▸ Acting as the primary client contact. Building trusted relationships and ensuring a high standard of service at every touchpoint

▸ Planning and allocating resource for training initiatives, and facilitating workshops and training sessions yourself

▸ Presenting programme results, insights, and recommendations to senior stakeholders

▸ Negotiating terms and managing commercial agreements with external training partners

▸ Overseeing invoicing processes and validating costs from third-party providers

▸ Providing leadership and development support to your project team

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

This role is specifically suited to candidates with hands-on experience in an automotive aftersales environment. Whether that's from a network, OEM, or consultancy background. A genuine understanding of how aftersales training operates within a retail dealership context is essential; without this, you will be unlikely to be considered for the position.

Beyond that, we're looking for someone who is:

▸ Educated to degree level in business, social sciences, or a related discipline

▸ Experienced in training & development, L&D programme management, or a closely related field

▸ A confident client-facing professional with a track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects

▸ Commercially aware. Comfortable managing budgets, margins, and supplier negotiations

▸ A strong communicator who can adapt their style for senior audiences and operational teams alike

  • Highly organised, solution-focused, and able to keep multiple projects on track simultaneously
  • A natural team leader who brings out the best in the people around them
