Human Resources Specialist

Summary
This exciting role will be providing administrative support for the HR department producing work across the UK, Europe and the Middle East. The day-to-day responsibility will involve supporting our experienced HR specialists and HR advisory on the full employee life-cycle process from onboarding, references, maternity, leave of absence, data entry, secondments, and probation to off boarding.
Your Responsibilities
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with the HR Specialists in the team in order to ensure all elements of a task are completed. Support one another to deliver an excellent service and build positive stakeholder relationships/
- Maintaining up to date filing systems which comply with data protection legislation and that are in line with our naming conventions
- Sending out notifications to the business on changes in status, arrivals, departures, and more
- Preparing employment and financial references for the UK and UAE
- Liaising with Payroll regarding joiners, leavers and changes
- Preparing letters for changes in terms or status
- Data entry to reflect people movements and changes from updates to existing profiles to onboarding new joiners to offboarding
- Providing regular informative updates on the status of tasks in operations meetings
- Updating spreadsheets on our operations and people movements
- Support process improvement activities and share ideas of where we can streamline or make processes and procedures more efficient
- Demonstrate a high level of service delivery; do what is necessary to ensure customer satisfaction; deal with service failures and prioritize customer needs
- Work to set deadlines, KPI's and SLA's ensuring any escalations are raised timely
About You - Essential
- Flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced and stimulating environment
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
- Strong organisational skills and initiative, including ability to handle interruptions, manage multiple competing demands, manage priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong focus on customer service and responsiveness, including responding and solving problems effectively and in a timely manner to enquires.
- An energetic, hands-on individual with a strong bias for action, someone who commits themselves fully to stretch goals, is receptive to ongoing coaching and development and who is dedicated to delivering outstanding results with a keen eye for accuracy

About You – Advantageous But Not Essential
- Experience and knowledge of working within a fast paced environment and managing multiple competing demands
- Experience and knowledge of using an HRIS system such as Workday or PeopleSoft
- Experience and knowledge of using an applicant tracking system such as PageUp
- Some administrative experience as part of a team in a professional services firm, particularly with letter admin, data entry, and proof reading.
