System Engineer

The Role

• Gain hands-on experience in industrial automation while supporting the delivery of complex control, safety, and security projects.
• Assist senior engineers with design, programming, commissioning, validation, and audit preparation.
• Prepare technical documentation, wiring drawings, P&IDs, and test plans.
• Support execution of thermal mapping and validation protocols.
• Assist with preparing for ISO and cyber security audits.
• Work within highly regulated industries and ensure solutions comply with GxP requirements.

What You'll Need

• Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical, Control, Automation Engineering or similar.
• Knowledge of Rockwell and Siemens PLCs and familiarity with WinCC, InTouch, Ignition SCADA / HMIs.
• Basic knowledge of motor/drive commissioning.
• Basic knowledge of industrial communication protocols.
• Understanding of electrical control panel wiring, with ability to conduct basic wiring and fault-finding.
• Understanding of Directives and standards associated with Process Safety, Machinery Safety, IACS cyber security.
