The Role
- Gain hands-on experience in industrial automation while supporting the delivery of complex control, safety, and security projects.
- Assist senior engineers with design, programming, commissioning, validation, and audit preparation.
- Prepare technical documentation, wiring drawings, P&IDs, and test plans.
- Support execution of thermal mapping and validation protocols.
- Assist with preparing for ISO and cyber security audits.
- Work within highly regulated industries and ensure solutions comply with GxP requirements.
What You'll Need
- Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical, Control, Automation Engineering or similar.
- Knowledge of Rockwell and Siemens PLCs and familiarity with WinCC, InTouch, Ignition SCADA / HMIs.
- Basic knowledge of motor/drive commissioning.
- Basic knowledge of industrial communication protocols.
- Understanding of electrical control panel wiring, with ability to conduct basic wiring and fault-finding.
- Understanding of Directives and standards associated with Process Safety, Machinery Safety, IACS cyber security.
