Cyber Security Engineer

The Role

• Provide cybersecurity engineering services for classified and unclassified computer systems.
• Develop creative solutions to complex technical issues and maintain required security postures.
• Work with security monitoring teams to ensure logs are forwarded to SIEM capabilities.
• Develop new policies, design processes, and procedures in collaboration with customers and agencies.
• Assess system vulnerabilities, implement risk mitigation, and test security products.
• Maintain and support security enforcing functions.

What You'll Need

• Experience in MOD or Home Office project environments.
• Strong knowledge of network and system security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, micro-segmentation, host security).
• Hands-on experience with security products such as Trellix, Ivanti, ClearSwift, Yubikey.
• Understanding of secure coding practices and common vulnerabilities.
• Expertise in identity and access management (IAM), including RBAC and ABAC.
• Incident detection and response experience within MOD environments.
