The Governors of Outwood Primary School are seeking to appoint an outstanding practitioner. You will need to bring creativity, enthusiasm and a passion for teaching to our dedicated team. You will have excellent subject knowledge and will be committed to giving our children the start in life they deserve.

You will

  • be either an experienced teacher looking to progress in their careers within a dynamic learning environment or an Early Career Teacher (ECTs) eager to launch your career in a forward-thinking school, committed to high-quality CPD.
  • be an outstanding classroom practitioner, able to work flexibly with colleagues within a strong team and support curriculum development.
  • quickly build positive relationships with children, understanding their needs to help them reach their full potential and contribute to raising standards across the school.
  • have a commitment to inclusive practice.
  • prioritise children’s wellbeing, mental health and pastoral care
  • have a secure understanding of assessment and be able to place this at the centre of your teaching.
  • Most importantly, be committed to professional development and have high expectations of your own practice.
