Salary: £58,851

Full Time (37 hours) a week

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Head of MIS to lead the strategic development and delivery of Management Information Services across our College Group.

Reporting to the Director of Finance and MIS, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity and compliance of learner data across Further Education, Adult Skills, Apprenticeships and Higher Education provision. You will act as the College's lead expert on funding, ILR compliance, data governance and regulatory reporting, ensuring data supports informed decision-making, funding optimisation and outstanding learner outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and develop the MIS team and services.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant ILR submissions and learner data.
  • Oversee compliance with DfE, ESFA, GLA, Surrey Council and OfS requirements.
  • Drive data quality, reporting and continuous improvement.
  • Support curriculum planning, performance monitoring and funding optimisation.
  • Lead audit readiness and manage funding and compliance risks.

About You

You will have:

  • Significant MIS leadership experience within Further Education.
  • Expert knowledge of ILR funding rules and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of FE funding, data quality and audit requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
  • Degree / HND in a Business or IT related discipline is desirable
  • Maths & English GCSE / Level 2 equivalent (achieved or willing to obtain)
