Who we're looking for

We are currently recruiting for a Service Hub Dispatcher at Peterborough City Hospital. Peterborough City Hospital is now regarded as the City's most significant building project since the cathedral was built in 1238. The healthcare campus features: a 612-bed, 22-theatre Major Acute Hospital; a 98-bed Mental Health Unit; a 39-bed City Care Centre; a multi storey car park; helicopter pad; hard and soft landscaping and highway works.
The Service Hub Dispatcher will be responsible for implementing and carrying out Hard FM Services reactive event monitoring against Service Desk KPIs at the required intervals. The role involves collaborating with other team members on your own initiative, interacting with and supporting colleagues across the contract as required to ensure effective service delivery.
You will support the Management and Technical teams to ensure services are delivered in line with contractual KPIs, including response and rectification times. This includes dispatching events to engineering operatives, liaising with operatives where assistance is required and following up on all Multiplex-dispatched events to ensure works remain on track.
The role also requires coordinating additional support where engineers request assistance to rectify an event, maintaining clear communication, and ensuring all activities are aligned with service delivery expectations.
Please note this is a part time role working 25 hours per week.
What do I need to be successful in this role?
- Service desk experience is essential
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.) with strong keyboard skills
- Good communication skills with an excellent telephone manner
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Positive and proactive attitude
- Ability to work on own initiative and manage priorities effectively
- Knowledge of CAFM systems such as Maximo, QFM, or Concept (desirable).
