Multi - Professional and Specialty Simulation Fellow

The post is a one-year fixed term contract. It will be based within Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust and primarily working at Darent Valley Hospital. This is an exciting and unique opportunity for a trainee with an interest in education to develop as a multiprofessional simulation-based educator. The aims of this new programme are to support the academic and nonclinical professional development of healthcare professionals from a range of backgrounds and to bring benefits to the healthcare system in which they are working through their project work on the programme.
Multi-Professional Fellows will provide clinical leadership to agreed development work/project(s) in one or more of these areas working with stakeholders in Dartford & Gravesham NHS Trust and the local system.
The role is intended to develop the postholder’s leadership capabilities and non-clinical professional development. The Fellow will be sponsored to complete postgraduate certificate level academic studies at Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS) as an integral part of the role. Fellows will be supported to network and collaborate with colleagues on the programme from different professional backgrounds and across geographical communities in KSS to enhance learning and developments.
