At Metrocart UK Ltd, we connect cultures through food. Since 2022, we’ve been on a mission to revolutionize the wholesale distribution of Afro-Caribbean, South Asian, Middle Eastern, and Oriental food products across the UK. We operate as an innovation engine, combining strategic partnerships, operational excellence, and cutting-edge tech.

We are currently seeking a passionate, forward-thinking Project Management Executive to join our team on a pro bono (voluntary) basis. Operating entirely online, this role offers a 3-month probation period, after which we will review project milestones and team integration to decide on the next steps for our long-term collaboration.

What You’ll Do

• Drive Cross-Functional Projects: Oversee key strategic initiatives across procurement, operational efficiency, and technological integration (such as automated stock management).
• Build Agile Processes: Refine project timelines, define clear milestones, and keep our lean, scalable business model moving efficiently.
• Collaborate with Leadership: Work closely with our executive and finance teams to translate big-picture strategic goals into actionable, cost-effective project plans.
• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify project bottlenecks and collaborate on innovative solutions to keep deliverables on track.

Who You Are

• An experienced project manager or an ambitious professional looking to elevate their portfolio with high-level corporate experience.
• Well-versed in project management frameworks and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Trello, Asana, or Jira).
• Exceptional communication skills with a knack for building long-term, collaborative relationships online.
• Passionate about diversity, supply chain innovation, and making a tangible impact.
