ProMedical has been supporting the NHS and private healthcare sector for almost 20 years. We are an approved supplier on major NHS staffing and insourcing frameworks and have built a strong reputation for delivering healthcare staffing solutions across the UK.

As we continue to develop our temporary staffing, insourcing and medico-legal services, we are looking to appoint two experienced Recruitment Consultants to join our Medical Locums division.

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to join an established and successful Medical Locums team, inheriting existing business and building on established client and candidate relationships.

You will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of healthcare professionals and healthcare clients, supporting both existing business and identifying opportunities for growth.

We are looking for recruiters who enjoy building relationships, developing business and delivering an excellent service to both clients and candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and developing relationships with healthcare professionals and healthcare organisations
• Building and maintaining a pipeline of high-quality candidates
• Identifying and developing new business opportunities
• Managing existing client relationships and vacancies
• Negotiating rates and terms of business
• Ensuring compliance requirements are met
• Working closely with internal compliance, payroll and support teams
• Achieving individual sales and performance objectives
• Delivering a high standard of customer service to both clients and candidates

About You

We are interested in speaking with experienced recruiters who can demonstrate:

• A minimum of 2 years' recruitment experience
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach
• The ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Resilience, professionalism and a positive attitude

Previous medical locum recruitment experience would be advantageous but is not essential. We would also welcome applications from experienced recruiters working in other sectors.
