Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (between 8:00am and 6:00pm)

Salary: £33,280 per annum

Work Location: Huddersfield Head Office

We are looking for someone with

  • The ability to produce clear, accurate and professionally written documentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Copilot, including the ability to use AI tools effectively and responsibly
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation with the ability to research, interpret, and present information in a clear and accessible format.
  • Strong initiative and sound decision-making skills
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a car insured for business use

Purpose of Post

The Company Development Officer plays a key role in supporting organisational growth and continuous improvement by working closely with the Registered Manager, HR Manager and Quality and Compliance Manager, to develop, implement and embed effective systems and processes across the service.

The post holder is responsible for driving the ongoing review and enhancement of company policies and procedures, ensuring they remain aligned with current legislation, regulatory standards, contractual requirements, and best practice guidance. They will ensure that all documentation is accurate, accessible and effectively communicated to staff, supporting consistent understanding and application across the organisation.

The role contributes to maintaining high-quality governance and compliance frameworks, enabling the service to deliver safe, effective, and person-centred care. This includes promoting a culture of continuous improvement, transparency and engagement with staff, clients and stakeholders.
