Bedford Borough Council is looking for a Benefit Assessment Officer to join our busy team on a part-time basis.

The successful candidate will have experience of Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support Legislation.

You will be able to work under pressure whilst retaining a high level of accuracy. You will be able communicate with internal teams, customers and Landlords.

The team is currently hybrid with some scope for working from home, and this is under review, however, you must be available to work in the office, at Borough Hall, to undertake all training that is required, this will depend upon the individual.
