An amazing opportunity of a 12mth Secondment band 6 Day unit deputy Manager has become available.

The role will be the Day to day management of the Royal Gwent Haematology day unit and coordinating treatments for Haematology patients. Supporting a team of RN's and HCSW's and working collaboratively with members of the MDT.

This post is a fixed term/secondment for 12 months due to maternity cover. If you are interested in applying for the secondment position, you must obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying for this post.

Main duties of the job

To assist with the management of the Haematology day unit in RGH, and where required acting on behalf of the Ward Manager. To act in accordance with the NMC Professional Code of contact. To be responsible and accountable for the assessment, planning, deliver and evaluation of patient care.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
