AI Platform Engineer (Agentic)

Hybrid – Bracknell (2–3 days/week)

£80,000 – £120,000 + benefits

We’re partnering with a global enterprise technology business in the marketing and advertising sector to hire an AI Platform Engineer who will shape how AI is engineered and used across the organisation.

This is a pure engineering role.

No training. No change management. No slide decks.

You’ll design and build a coherent, AI-native product lifecycle spanning engineering, delivery and commercial teams, creating agentic workflows, shared tooling and integration standards that scale across the business.

What you’ll be doing

• Designing agentic AI systems (multi-step actions, tool use, state, guardrails)
• Building AI integration layers (MCP or equivalent patterns)
• Creating internal platforms, frameworks and developer tooling
• Defining standards teams adopt, through code, not process
• Working across engineering, delivery and commercial functions

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience with agentic AI patterns
• Production experience with TypeScript or Python
• API design, CI/CD and internal tooling ownership
• Proven cross-functional engineering impact
• Comfortable setting direction in ambiguous environments

Nice to have

• Platform engineering, DevEx or DevOps background
• Workflow automation beyond engineering teams
