We are a two form entry primary school where children and their needs are at the very heart of all of our decisions. We have a created a learning environment in which individuals can excel. Our facilities include a dedicated music studio, refurbished library, outdoor STEAM area, woodland area and many other creative spaces.

We are looking for 3 Teaching Assistants to join us from September 2026, for a full academic year.

Job Details

Salary: 25,185 FTE

Contract Type: Term time only, Fixed term (1 year contract)

Working Pattern: Monday-Friday

Location: Georgian Gardens CP School

Interviews: 17th June 2026

Start date: 1st September 2026

What You Need to Succeed

1. Be confident working with individual pupils with special educational needs and with pupils for whom English is not their first language

2. Be able to assist in the development of individual development plans for pupils (such as Individual Education Plans).

3. Support the work of volunteers and other teaching assistants in the classroom.

4. Support pupils in developing and implementing their own personal and social development

5. Monitor and manage stock and supplies for the classroom.

6. Attend to pupils’ personal needs including toileting, hygiene, dressing and eating, as well as help with social, welfare and health matters, reporting problems to the teacher as appropriate.
