Finance Director

Our client is a well-established manufacturing business based in the West of Scotland, with a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and operational excellence. With a solid market position and ambitious growth plans, the business is seeking to appoint an experienced and commercially focused Finance Director to join its senior leadership team.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Finance Director will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance, supporting strategic decision-making, and enhancing operational efficiency across the business.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading the finance function, ensuring robust financial control, reporting, and governance
• Partnering with the leadership team to deliver strategic growth initiatives
• Driving improvements in margin, cost control, and cash flow
• Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
• Supporting operational leaders with insightful financial analysis
• Leading and optimising ERP systems to improve data quality, reporting, and business processes
• Managing external relationships including auditors, banks, and advisors

The Candidate

We are seeking a fully qualified, high-calibre finance leader with significant experience in a manufacturing environment. You will demonstrate strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence at board level as well as extensive experience with ERP systems (implementation, optimisation, or transformation highly desirable).
