Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Admission Counselor role based at our Whitefield center. The Admission Counselor will serve as the primary point of contact for prospective families, handling inquiries via walk-ins, phone, email, and digital channels, and providing accurate information about KLAY’s programs, curriculum, policies, and fees. The role involves conducting center tours, presenting KLAY’s value proposition, addressing parent needs, and guiding them through the end-to-end admission process from first interaction to enrollment and onboarding. The Admission Counselor will maintain and update leads in the CRM, follow up with prospective parents, meet admission targets, and collaborate closely with center staff and corporate teams to align on occupancy and revenue goals. Daily responsibilities also include supporting parent orientations, ensuring a welcoming front-desk experience, preparing basic reports on inquiries and conversions, and upholding KLAY’s standards of safety, transparency, and customer care.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills to engage confidently and empathetically with parents, children, and internal stakeholders.
- Proven Customer Service experience, with the ability to handle queries, resolve concerns, and provide a positive, trust-building experience for families.
- Sales skills, including lead management, follow-up, and conversion, with comfort working toward defined admission and revenue targets.
- Background or interest in Education or early childhood services, with an understanding of how to explain curricula, programs, and developmental outcomes to parents.
- Additional beneficial qualifications: prior experience in admissions, front office, or counseling roles; basic proficiency with CRM or MS Office tools; strong organizational and record-keeping abilities; ability to work on-site during center operating hours; and a bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Education, Psychology, Business, or related fields preferred).
