Job Title: Graduate Menswear Knitwear Designer

About the Role

Are you a recent fashion or knitwear design graduate with a passion for men's knitwear? We're looking for a highly motivated, trend-driven Graduate Designer to join our fast-paced Manchester studio. You will work closely with our experienced Men's Knitwear Director helping to shape commercial knitwear collections from initial trend research through to the final sample stage for prominent UK and International high-street customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Trend Research: Researching upcoming menswear knitwear trends, colour palettes, and yarn developments, creating inspiring mood and trend boards.
• Design & Illustration: Assisting with the creation of original CAD designs and clear technical packs for overseas factories.
• Sample Management: Supporting the Men's Knitwear Design Team during fittings, logging samples, and assisting with yarn and colour approvals.
• Team Collaboration: Creating ordered styles on our in-house PLM system, working closely with the wider merchandising and technical teams to ensure garments are commercially successful.

About You

• Education: Graduate with a degree in Knitwear Design, Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a closely related subject.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is essential.
• Technical Knowledge: A foundational understanding of garment construction, different knit stitches, and yarn types.
• Eye for Design: A keen eye for detail, colour matching, and commercial menswear trends.
