About the Role

Life Couriers have depots across England.

We are looking for an experienced and driven Logistics Manager to lead operations at our Exeter depot. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and cost-effective movement of goods while maintaining excellent service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all day-to-day logistics and distribution activities at the depot
  • Manage and develop a team of drivers, warehouse staff, and supervisors
  • Ensure timely and accurate deliveries in line with customer expectations
  • Monitor and improve operational performance, KPIs, and cost efficiency
  • Maintain high standards of health & safety and regulatory compliance
  • Plan routes and resource allocation to maximise productivity
  • Work closely with internal departments and external partners to support business objectives
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives

About You

  • Proven experience in a logistics, transport, or depot management role
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with logistics systems and performance reporting
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
