The Position: We’re looking for a Personal Development Coach

We are looking for an inspiring, energetic, and driven Personal Development Coach to join our Personal Development & Enrichment team. This is more than a role—it’s an opportunity to shape futures, build confidence, and support learners to thrive both personally and professionally.

About The Role

As a Personal Development Coach, you will work closely with students from enrolment through to progression, playing a vital role in their journey. You’ll guide, support, and challenge learners to develop the behaviours, attitudes, and skills they need to succeed in education, employment, and life.

From delivering engaging group sessions to providing 1:1 coaching and pastoral support, you’ll be at the heart of student development helping them unlock their full potential

What Skills Are We Looking For

  • A recognised qualification at Level 3 or willing to work towards
  • Literacy & Numeracy qualifications to at least Level 2 or equivalent (if you cannot evidence this we can help assess you through Century Tech)
  • Experience of working with young people (16+) either in a coaching or mentoring role (voluntary or paid)

Responsibilities For The Role

  • To deliver group awareness sessions to students on full-time study programmes for Personal Development.
  • To support and coach students in a group and 1-1 to achieve their full attention through robust action planning and target setting and monitor progress against those targets and promoting and celebrating students’ success.
  • To monitor student attendance, punctuality, commitment and general awareness of conduct and behaviour.
  • To provide support to students as they navigate through UCAS and Higher Education system.
