Personal Assistant Required
A patient and compassionate individual is required to provide companionship and care for a lady with end-stage Alzheimer’s.
The lady is cared for by family at her home (Illingworth area). Her day is spent either in her bed or in her chair. She is not mobile.
The main responsibilities would be
- Providing company: sitting with her, chatting or just watching TV programmes that she likes.
- Providing reassurance: she can get distressed and anxious and needs a kind voice to support her.
- Supporting her with eating and drinking
Hours required: Saturday 5pm - 8.30pm and Sunday 11am - 4pm
Hourly rates of pay are £13.22
