Due to continued growth within our secure projects portfolio, we are looking to appoint a Assistant Site Manager to join our Regional Build team, supporting the delivery of a major defence scheme in Berkshire. This is a unique opportunity to work on a nationally significant project within a highly secure environment, contributing to critical infrastructure that supports the UK’s long-term defence capability.
What you'll be doing
As an Assistant Site Manager you will:
- Lead the safe and successful delivery of a major defence construction project
- Manage programme, commercial performance, quality and client relationships
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and supply chain partners
- Drive performance against project milestones and operational objectives
- Ensure compliance with all security, safety and governance requirements.
Who we're looking for
You will have the following:
- Proven experience delivering construction projects within main contracting
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Experience within defence, secure environments, MOD or regulated sectors is advantageous
- Excellent understanding of programme and project controls
- Relevant construction qualifications (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent)
- Ability to obtain or hold relevant security clearance.
