Salary: £43,000 per annum

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Charge Nurse (or Senior Nurse ready to step up) to join a specialist neurological service. You will lead a nursing team delivering high-quality care to individuals with complex neurological conditions, including those recovering from trauma and living with physical disabilities.

This is a rewarding opportunity to develop specialist skills while making a real difference.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate nursing care within the unit
• Support and supervise the nursing team
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes
• Manage staffing, resources, and care delivery
• Liaise with the multidisciplinary team
• Maintain high clinical standards and best practice

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration
• Experience in neurological or complex care settings
• Leadership experience (or ready to step up)
• Competent in tracheostomy, ventilator, PEG, and catheter care
• Strong leadership, communication, and teamworking skills
• Patient-focused with a commitment to quality care
