No experience? No problem! This is an apprenticeship, so we’ll provide you with full training and support every step of the way.

To be eligible, you’ll need:

A good standard of secondary education

Not to already hold a CIPD Level 3 (or higher)

The right to work in the UK and meet Apprenticeship funding criteria

You’ll thrive in a busy office environment and enjoy being part of a positive, supportive team. We work across office, hybrid and remote settings - you’ll begin office-based to build your skills, with flexibility as you grow.

You’ll also have strong IT skills, particularly across Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Planner), along with great problem-solving ability and an excellent eye for detail.

THE ROLE

As a Talent & People Apprentice, you’ll play a key role in supporting the recruitment of high-quality individuals who go on to save lives and make a real difference in the community. You’ll help ensure we continue to grow as a competitive, diverse, and purpose-driven organisation.

You’ll act as a central point of contact for both recruitment and the wider People team, gaining hands-on experience across the full hiring journey. From managing recruitment systems like Team Tailor and Cezanne to keeping candidate and employee data accurate and up to date, you’ll be at the heart of our people processes.

Day-to-day, you’ll get involved in:

Creating and posting engaging job adverts

Reviewing applications and CVs against screening criteria

Assessing candidate test results using tools like TestGorilla

Keeping candidates informed and supported throughout the recruitment journey, ensuring a great experience at every stage

Supporting recruitment events in schools, colleges and the community

Completing key pre-employment checks (right to work, references and DBS)

Managing the careers inbox daily, providing timely and professional responses
