Description of Role
Experienced *Female Support Worker required for an 85-year-old lady who has an injury affecting her spine in the Nuneaton area.
The client requires a support worker to provide personal care and support covering the week and weekends; comprising of split shifts during the day and a sleep-in shift overnight.
The role involves attending to her needs as required, including personal care, medication management, bladder care and supra pubic catheter care.
The support worker must understand spinal-cord injury, be flexible to cover all shifts during the day; be trustworthy, well organised, and able to work as part of an established team.
Working hours
19.5 hours per week, but the role requires flexibility to provide additional cover for sickness, annual leave, etc. when required
Current Shifts
Early Morning: 6:45am – 9:30am
Daytime: 12:30pm – 2pm (approx. timing)
Sleeping Shifts: 7:30pm – 9:30am
Rates of Pay
Monday-Friday, 7am-9pm: £15.50 per hour
Saturday- Sunday, 7am-pm: £17.50 per hour
Sleeping Nights (10 hours paid):
Monday-Friday: £132.50
Saturday-Sunday: £142.50
Bank Holidays: £25.42 per hour
