Active US is an exciting project developed by Sussexsport and supported by the Students’ Union, which will be returning for its 13th year in September 2026.

The aim of Active US is to increase Sussex students’ regular participation in sport and physical activity, keeping students engaged when they transition from school or college to university and throughout their time at university.

To help deliver this project Sussexsport requires an enthusiastic and self-motivated student to deliver the running of weekly sport specific sessions, one off events and sports leagues.

We are looking for Active US Activator applications, but not limited to, the following areas: (Basketball, Volleyball, Football, Tennis, Disability Sport and Social Media).

If you have a strong passion for a sport not listed, please apply and make this clear in your application.

Please also note that applicants may also have the opportunity to be considered for vacant sports assistant roles within Sussexsport.
