An excellent opportunity has arisen for band 7 physiotherapist to join the Community MSK Assessment & Physiotherapy Service (CMAPS). The service includes MSK rehabilitation, First Contact Physiotherapy, Advanced Physiotherapy & administration team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Band 7 Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist / Clinical Team Leader to join our physiotherapy service.

To take a lead clinical role in the day to day delivery of a high quality therapy service in area of speciality, managing resources and conflicting priorities.

Undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner acting as a clinical lead and role model within own team and wider MDT workforce.

Supporting Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners (APPs) and Service leads to evaluate Therapy Service in area of speciality and take actions to contribute to continual improvement and positive patient outcomes

To support the Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners and Therapy Leads in taking a lead role within area of specialism, providing advanced therapy assessment and treatment of patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions. To be a source of expertise, to identify, analyse, evaluate and problem solve to enable the development and delivery of individualized intervention and treatment programmes.

To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner, using specialist skills to effectively manage caseload, service delivery, patient and professional demands. Maintain appropriate records and data inputting.

Undertake a Team Leader role with the support of the APPs and Service Leads in planning, coordinating, and delivering the therapy service provided to patients in specialist area, managing staff and resources on a day-to-day basis and adapting use of resources to meet conflicting demands.
