The Role

We're on the hunt for a Human Resources Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you'll provide proactive HR leadership and expert people support, helping managers and employees achieve outstanding business and project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for HR-related enquiries, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Partner with managers to support employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, redundancy, and performance management cases.
  • Build strong, credible relationships with stakeholders, influencing and supporting people-focused decision-making.
  • Monitor employee relations trends, absence management, and workforce issues, implementing effective solutions where required.
  • Support managers with the interpretation and application of HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
  • Conduct exit interviews and provide insights to support retention and engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Occupational Health and wider business functions to effectively manage employee wellbeing and attendance.
  • Assist with recruitment activity and workforce planning during periods of high demand.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience in a Human Resources Manager, HR Business Partner, or Senior HR Advisor role.
  • Strong employee relations expertise, including case management and employment law knowledge.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to influence, challenge, and coach managers with confidence and professionalism.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent HR accreditation is desirable.
  • Bonus: Experience within construction, engineering, infrastructure, or project-based environments.
