The Role

The Board of IronOak, alongside its Executive Leadership Team, is committed to providing safe quality homes and communities where everyone feels empowered, safe and valued. We will do this through robust governance and risk management, undertaken by the Audit & Risk Committee and wider Board.

We are looking for individuals with financial and treasury management expertise and expertise across regulation, compliance, risk management and/or assurance to work collaboratively with the Board, Executive Leadership Team, and other key stakeholders. Together, we aim to enhance our services and improve the experiences of IronOak residents.

We are currently recruiting for three Board Members with one member to join the Audit & Risk Committee in addition to Board duties

Role: Board Member

Annual Remuneration: £4000

Expected Time Commitment: 4x Board Meetings a year plus 1x Strategy Day (In person)

Role: Audit & Risk Committee Member

Annual Remuneration: £500

Expected Time Commitment: 4x Committee Meetings a year (Virtual)

In addition to the scheduled meetings listed, there may be occasional Extraordinary Meetings convened as and when necessary. If you become both a Board and ARC member you will receive both renumerations

Induction and Training

We are committed to supporting all Board and Committee members to succeed in their role. New members will be provided with a full induction and access to relevant training to help build confidence, understanding of governance, and knowledge of key areas such as social housing regulation and resident engagement.
