Health Visitor Assistant - Band 3 - 22.75 hours

The role involves providing comprehensive clerical support to the Start Well Health Visiting teams, including handling spreadsheets, word processing, emails, and retrieving information. It also includes organising caseloads, supporting team members with administrative tasks, scheduling appointments, filing correspondence, and ensuring effective communication within the team. Additionally, responsibilities extend to arranging group activities in community settings to facilitate the Healthy Child Programme, supporting the delivery of child health clinics and supporting service delivery across Stockport .

Provide a full range of clerical duties for the Start Well Health Visiting teams and as directed by the Start Well Health Visiting team and Information and Clinical Support Co-ordinator; this will include tasks such as spreadsheets, word processing, e-mails and retrieval of information using a variety of systems preparing and processing outputs from clinical sessions.

Provide the Start Well Health Visiting teams with organisational systems and processes to support the organisation of the neighbourhood area caseload.

Carry out duties as directed by the Team leader, HVs or The Information and Clinical Support Co-ordinator to enable them to make the most effective and efficient use of clinical time.

Organise group activities, in clinics and other community venues as delegated to enable the teams to deliver the Healthy Child Programme.

Make appointments, file correspondence and ensure communication is well documented and shared by whole team in line with caseload holders and other team members requests.

Work across Stockport to support start well teams and the advice line team to support service delivery.
