Longacres is looking for an enthusiastic person with a positive, can-do attitude to work in the fast paced, high turnover Seasonal department. Our Seasonal Department is a large department stocking a wide array of different products from BBQs to Garden Furniture.
The successful candidate will have merchandising and retail experience preferably from a Garden Centre background, be a good communicator with a focus on customer service and can work as part of a team and on their own initiative

Key Responsibilities and Duties
To assist with sales of Garden Furniture, BBQ’s and other seasonal products.
Organise customer orders for delivery.
Working the weekly deliveries, making sure all shop floor products are priced and correctly merchandised;
Help customers with any enquires they may have in store and over the phone;
Help with seasonal moves around the store
During busy periods helping in other departments may be required.
Key Skills and Competencies
Experience working within retail sales, with a passion for selling
Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment
Excellent organisation and housekeeping skills
Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise is essential
