Purpose of Role

Vinci Facilities is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team delivering services on the Shell Retail Account. This is a mobile role covering multiple Shell forecourt locations within a defined patch between Northampton and London.

You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and safety of Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Units, alongside supporting the wider electrical infrastructure across the sites. This is an excellent opportunity to work at the forefront of energy transition within a well-established facilities management environment.

Responsibilities

Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on EV charging units across Shell forecourts

Diagnose and complete reactive electrical repairs efficiently and safely

Conduct general electrical PPM and reactive maintenance across site assets

Fault finding and repair of electrical systems and associated equipment

Ensure compliance with all relevant health & safety and industry regulations

Maintain accurate service records and documentation using internal systems

Work independently across a multi-site patch, managing workload effectively

Provide excellent customer service when interacting with site teams and stakeholders

Essential Qualifications/Skills

Qualified Electrician with City & Guilds (or equivalent)

18th Edition Wiring Regulations

Experience in electrical maintenance (PPM and reactive)

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

Full UK driving licence

Ability to work independently across multiple locations

Experience working with EV charging infrastructure (Desirable)

Previous experience within facilities management or retail environments (Desirable)

Testing & Inspection (2391 or equivalent) (Desirable)
