SPTC London Operations Officer

We are now seeking a highly organised and proactive Operations Officer to support the delivery and development of our London Centre operations.

This is a pivotal role ensuring the smooth delivery of teaching programmes and the day-to-day running of the London Centre. You will oversee operations for key programmes including London Monday, London Tuesday, and teaching weeks, while supporting events, administration, and centre-wide coordination.

Applications for this role close on Sunday 12th July, stage one of interview will involve a test on Tuesday 14th July and successful candidates will be invited in for an in person interview on Thursday 16th July. The salary range for this position is £29,000 - 35,000.

As part of this role you will:

Programme Delivery & Coordination

  • Lead operational delivery of teaching days and teaching weeks
  • Coordinate speakers, worship leaders, volunteers, and production
  • Create and maintain detailed timetables and programme communications
  • Manage logistics: room bookings, AV, catering, and teaching materials
  • Liaise with lecturers and upload resources to Moodle

Administration & Communication

  • Manage teaching inbox and weekly centre communications
  • Process invoices and supplier payments
  • Support Directors with scheduling, meetings, and administration
  • Coordinate DDO visits and student-related communications

Events & Community Life

  • Deliver key London Centre events, including inductions, celebrations, and training days
  • Organise student socials and hospitality teams
  • Recruit and coordinate volunteers

Centre Operations

  • Support smooth running of the building in partnership with Estates and IT
  • Coordinate staff meetings, agendas, and minutes
  • Oversee internal venue bookings and centre-wide processes
  • Support Chelmsford administration (until June 2026)

Wider Contribution

  • Support college events, conferences, and residentials
  • Provide general office and operational support as part of the wider team
  • Participate in staff meetings, retreats, and national gatherings

Requirements

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communicator with strong relationship-building skills
  • Experience in administration, operations, or events coordination
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working collaboratively across teams
  • A proactive, flexible approach with a willingness to serve
