At HEP, we're passionate about helping students access life-changing education opportunities. We're looking for an experienced and energetic Sales Trainer to join our Contact Centre team and drive the development of our sales advisors, team leaders, and future managers.
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of sales capability across our business. You'll design and deliver engaging training programmes, develop coaching frameworks, and work closely with operational leaders to build a high-performing, customer-focused sales culture.
What you'll be doing
- Deliver engaging onboarding and induction programmes for new starters.
- Design and facilitate sales training covering consultative selling, objection handling, customer conversations, and compliance.
- Develop team leaders and senior advisors into confident and effective coaches.
- Create modern learning content, including digital and blended learning solutions.
- Partner with operational leaders to identify performance gaps and implement targeted development initiatives.
- Support advisors through coaching, workshops, side-by-side observations, and performance improvement activities.
- Continuously improve training materials using learner feedback, performance data, and industry best practice.
What we're looking for -Essential
- Experience delivering sales training in a Contact Centre, customer service, or B2C sales environment.
- Strong facilitation and coaching skills with the ability to engage and motivate others.
- Experience creating training content and learning programmes.
- Ability to analyse performance data and translate insights into effective training solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A passion for developing people and driving performance.
It would be great if you also have
- Experience within Higher Education, EdTech, or a consultative sales environment.
- Experience developing managers and coaching capability.
- Knowledge of digital learning platforms and blended learning approaches.
- Relevant training qualifications (CIPD, LPI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
