Artemis is looking for a talented Sous Chef to join the team at Rivervale Barn, an exclusive-use wedding and events venue on the Hampshire / Berkshire border. Working alongside an experienced Head Chef, you'll help deliver outstanding modern British menus for weddings and events, creating memorable experiences for hundreds of guests throughout the year.

What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the Head Chef in the day-to-day management of the kitchen
- Act as the kitchen lead and cover the Head Chef, as and when required
- Preparing and delivering high-quality dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients
- Maintaining exceptional standards of food hygiene, preparation, and presentation
- Assisting with stock control, supplier ordering, and kitchen administration
- Leading and motivating the kitchen team during busy service periods
- Managing food safety systems and allergen procedures (full training provided)
- Contributing ideas for new dishes and menu development
What We're Looking For
At least 2 years' experience in a similar Sous Chef position
Experience delivering high-quality food for 100+ covers
A genuine passion for fresh food and modern British cuisine
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
Own transport (essential due to venue location)
Right to work full-time in the UK
