£31,158 - 33,940 per annum (Grade 6 Salary range)

We are looking for a Landlord Engagement Officer, this post plays a key role in the procurement of private rented accommodation

The Landlord Engagement Officer will work to increase access to good-quality private rented accommodation across Test Valley by proactively engaging with landlords to procure suitable properties This role will support homelessness prevention and relief in partnership with the Housing Options Team

Acting as a dedicated landlord adviser, the postholder will provide clear guidance and support to private sector landlords and agents, promoting compliance, high property standards, and ongoing partnership with the Council

You will work closely with all teams within the Housing Service whose primary focus is the prevention of homelessness

The role is expected to be across our Andover and Romsey Offices with some flexibility for home working
